该仪器主要用于内底的耐摩性测定，同时，本机在试验经染色的鞋面，内里皮革，经摩擦后之受损及退色的程度实验方法是以干燥或湿润的白色羊毛布，包于摩擦表面，然后往复摩擦夹在试验台上的试片.
This machine is designed to carry out the rub fastness test on the surface of leather according to method IUF450, so as to determine the amount of marring of the leather surface or finish and the amount of color transfer to the rubbing pad. It is also used to test abrasion resistance of insole board.
